Angkor Sankran Will Return in 2023

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, said that Cambodia will re-organize the Angkor Sangkran event in 2023 during the upcoming Khmer New Year in April 2023.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 3rd National Sports and the 1st Sports for the Disabled at the Moradok Techo National Stadium, PM Hun Sen said: “Khmer New Year 2023, we will do Angkor Sankranti again. At that time, I hope that bokator will become our symbol at that time. ”

Angkor Sangkran was first organized in 2013, which continued until 2019 in Siem Reap, before it was suspend until now.
